Eija Ranta is a movement artist creating movement performances, interventions, video and sound works. Her works are built around the relationship between the performer and the viewer from a bodily perspective. Her goal is to explore new ways to present the infinitely interesting movement of a human body. Her work has been presented in museums, galleries and festivals in Finland and internationally. Ranta lives and works in northern Finland and in Italy.
